Since 1999 my father John, my brother Eric, and I Steven have been flying model airplanes. I think it was a great hobby for me to get into when I was 7. It got me doing things other then watching television. It took a long time for me to learn but it was well worth it. Now I am starting to learn 3D acrobatics (that is where the wing is not crating lift and the engine it holding the plane in the air). Over the years we have had or still do have 32 planes.

Also in 2004 my father got his first helicopter and ever since I have also been flying that. With that it takes longer to learn but again I think it will be worth it. The nice thing with the helicopter is that you start to learn by hovering a few inches off the ground and if you get into trouble you can just set in down.

In 2001 my dad and I got into the wonderful sport of racing Sunfish sailboats.  We sailed them on Lake Ontario for 2 years then we joined the Rochester Canoe club (2003).  They have a great Sunday racing program on Irondequoit bay.

The Symbol at the top is the symbol for my sailboat (the sunfish).  The one below it is the symbol for the flying club we belong to
